Key Explorer
A single-file music theory tool and mini-DAW. Pick any of 17 root notes and 18 scales and modes with correct enharmonic spelling per key, hear every note and diatonic chord — triads through 13ths, plus borrowed chords with Roman-numeral analysis — via the Web Audio API, then sketch full ideas in a four-track sequencer: melody, chords, bass, and a synthesized drum kit, with four chainable pattern slots, swing, per-note velocity/gate/probability, an arpeggiator, and undo/redo. Exports hand-encoded Format 1 multi-track .mid files that drop straight into any DAW. No build step, no dependencies; everything runs client-side.
