Descent Protocol
A browser-based, linear-progression action platformer in vanilla JS on a 2D canvas, fully skinned with original sprite art. Every classic ability is here, and each one opens the next zone across 23 rooms of a sealed deep station. Collecting a major power-up seals the room and summons a guardian that only falls to the ability you just took; every room hides a late-game secret cache, and the wildlife scales with your arsenal. Past the final core: a ramping hold-to-fire laser, an enraged rematch, and a seven-boss gauntlet where each drop is the next boss's weakness. Web Audio sound effects and ambient zone loops, rebindable controls, auto-save on every transition.
